The trumpet triton shell is the largest in the triton family. It is a
thick, heavy seashell. As suggested by the name they can be
used as a trumpet by taking the correct amount off the apex
which makes the hole the appropriate size to blow into.
The Charonia Tritonis belongs to the Ranellidae family and is
common to Indo-Pacific.
