Candle Seashell Crafts Supplies:
- Paraffin bar, can be found at your local craft store.
- One candle wick for each candle you’ll be crafting
- Wick holders
- Double boiler
- Your favorite Large Seashells
Candle Seashell Crafts Directions:
1. Ensure the interior of the seashells are completely clean. We typically recommend a 10% bleach solution, and rinsing with water.
2. Slice the block of paraffin into smaller pieces appropriate for the seashell size you selected. Melt the paraffin blocks down in a double boiler, allowing the water to simmer in the bottom pot.
3. Once the paraffin has been melted down, cover your workspace in plastic to ensure the paraffin doesn’t get your home messy! Carefully pour the hot paraffin into the seashell, and quickly insert the wick into the paraffin wax.
4. Let the paraffin wax cool for at least half an hour so it can harden appropriately.
