Supplies:
Blank invitations in a color to reflect your wedding or event’s color theme
Calligraphy markers
Gold shimmer dust
Clear glue
Dyed Finger Starfish
Brown Mini Starfish
Directions:
1. On the front of the invitation, choose a phrase to match the tone of your event, such as “We cordially invite you to attend…”, or “Join us at the beach!”. Include the details of your event on the inside of the invitation. Carefully write the information using calligraphy markers.
2. Using the clear glue, affix one dyed finger starfish to the front of the beach themed wedding invitation.
3. Mini starfish are ideal for including in beach themed wedding invitations. Their small size prevents breakage, and mini starfish add such a pretty, unique touch to invitations. Glue two to three mini starfish to the inside of the invitation.
4. Brush a small portion of the clear glue in several spots along the inside and outside of the invitation, and sprinkle gold shimmer dust across the glue. This creates a really breathtaking look against the mini starfish and dyed finger starfish.
5. Once the glue has dried, simply address the envelopes and send away! Your guests will be so delighted by the presentation of the mini starfish aside, and of course so excited to attend your big day.
